Transdisciplinary Research Cluster on Sustainability Studies (TRCSS) at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi is a collaborative initiative of four Centers within the School of Social Sciences, namely Centre for Studies in Science Policy (
CSSP), Centre for the Study of Regional Development (
CSRD), Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health (
CSMCH) and Centre for Informal Sector & Labor Studies (
CIS&LS). The TRCSS programme through a collaborative creative process moves towards the development of the field as an academic area of trans-disciplinary knowledge and policy relevance. Activities of the trans-disciplinary programme on sustainable studies can be classified into three broad missions: education, research and outreach.
