Transdisciplinary Research Cluster on Sustainability Studies (TRCSS) at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi is a collaborative initiative of four Centers within the School of Social Sciences, namely Centre for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP), Centre for the Study of Regional Development (CSRD), Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health (CSMCH) and Centre for Informal Sector & Labor Studies (CIS&LS). The TRCSS programme through a collaborative creative process moves towards the development of the field as an academic area of trans-disciplinary knowledge and policy relevance. Activities of the trans-disciplinary programme on sustainable studies can be classified into three broad missions: education, research and outreach.
